Reflections from the rain flooding my deck this morning.

When I lived in South Dakota, the biggest weather concern right before Halloween was snow.  Snow buggered up everyone’s trick or treat plans because the first snowfall of the winter almost always happened on or right before Halloween.  Today, here in Kansas it is the rain threatening to ruin Halloween!  Why rain so late in the year?  I will never get used to living in Kansas.   How do you trick or treat in a rain coat?  I grew up wearing snow pants under my Halloween costume!
